Instructions

Mix the flour and dry yeast and salt and sugar in a mixing bowl.

Add the water at room temperature.

Knead the dough.

Round the dough to a ball. Cover the mixing bowl with the dough. Let it rise for 1 hour.

Shaping

Start dividing the dough into smaller balls. Cover the balls and let them rise for 10 minutes.

Cooking

Pre-heat the pan.

Add flour to your work surface. Using a rolling pin, flatten each ball.

Put the pita on the pan for 1 minute. Flip it and keep baking as necessary. Make sure the heat is not too high. When you see the pita is inflated, you can remove it from the pan.
